Not a dream.. she happened to me in this real world (Is this world
really real? I completely believe it is real because I'm not ready to
accept that I met Meghana in my dream world. But indeed, it's like a
dream)
Who is Meghana?
Five years back she was studying 6th class and probably she must be in her Intermediate 2nd year now.
Telling the complete story that happened truly.....
A story dated to 26th April, 2008.
Reached Vijayawada railway station with my cousin and uncle to board Pinakini express for Chennai.
There is a good rush for this particular train as many of the students who were writing AIEEE '08 got to give the test at Chennai. Me and my cousin were the same cases. After waiting 20 mins, we were happy to see the train arriving on the platform. People started boarding it before it halts on the platform. We boarded the train and my uncle and cousin managed to get a seat each. Then, my uncle asked one man, who is guarding three seats, for a seat. He offered me a seat and asked me to guard the other two seats for a while. He went out and after sometime, a lady came (I understood she is his wife). I politely gave her the way in to the window seat and while she moves in, a smile flowered in my face. A little girl followed her up holding her hand and sat beside me. I smiled at her innocence and cuteness, with the same feeling that we get if we see a cute lovely kid.
She sat beside me and started murmuring something looking through the window. I had a peek through the window and found her dad. Then, slowly I understood her words. She was telling her Dad all the care he has to take while she and her mother were away. Myself sitting beside can hardly hear them but she never thought that whether her father heard it or not. I smiled at her innocence at that time (but at this time something is striking my mind.. If you wish heartily your wish shall come true regardless whether it was listened or not... It's a conversation between two hearts.. It will be understood.. no need to hear it)
Her mother ordered her not to make any kind of noise. She calmed down and again started raising her voice soon. She told her daddy,"Daddy, meeru intlone vundandi, lodgeki vellakandi.. please..." (Translation - "Daddy, stay at home. Don't go to any lodge for your stay. Please..")
(This is the moment I started talking to her... I will write all the conversations in English itself)
I asked, "Why? Why shouldn't he go to a lodge?" (Myself being childish to talk to her)
She responded, "Lodges are full of thieves. Our uncle went to stay in a lodge and was robbed by the person who attended him. You too please don't go to lodges. Also, the news appeared in newspapers."
Behaving in a childish manner I nodded my head. After this she told me that I'm her 101st friend. She has lots of friends in her school and turning to her mother she requested to allow her to invite all his 100 friends to her birthday and then added me to the list. Her mother smiled. She didn't tell her name but I heard her mother calling her "Meghana!"
We had a little chat for a while. Then, I went to have my breakfast with my cousin and Uncle who were sitting in the second row behind my seat(our seats(Meghana and mine). Her mother started sleeping and I started eating. After a while, Meghana, my sweet angel, stood on the seat to see me. She made signal that she want to come to me. In response I told her to come, expecting that she will get down the seat and walks to me. To my astonishment, she jumped over the row seats and when she was about to fall down, I caught her with my own hands. I lifted her up and held her in my hands. We started getting close.
We chatted a lot, she told me many things which she thinks I don't know. Forgot to say, she has a personal make-up kit(was quite a surprise for me)!
Everyone surrounding us asked me for her. I passed her to them but she stayed not more than a minute with any of them. We became very much attached.
